Lovren feels to be under huge criticism

first_imgDejan Lovren insisted that he feels to be under bigger criticism than he deserves – despite doing pretty well this season, the critics have tried to point out every single little mistake that he has made and it bothers him.Dejan Lovren hasn’t had it easy since he joined Liverpool from Southampton – he was struggling to find his old form in his first seasons but now, he seems to be finally back. But the critics just keep pointing out his mistakes…The Croat spoke about his situation as he said, according to ESPN:divock origi, liverpoolReport: Origi cause Klopp injury concerns George Patchias – September 14, 2019 Divock Origi injury in today’s game against Newcastle is a cause for concern for Jurgen Klopp.Perhaps with one eye on Tuesday’s trip to Italy…“Everyone makes mistakes, but I play one bad game in 18 and everyone says, ‘Look, look, look.’ Why? I don’t deserve that. People don’t see me in the ‘small’ games. They see 5-0 against Porto but nobody sees my part.”“It’s a challenge. A personality challenge. After a mistake, are you ready to move on? I did it straightaway after Spurs when I was in that record of 18 games unbeaten. Big players don’t need six or seven games; big players in the next game prove you wrong.”last_img read more

Neymars terrible year leaves him out of all the Awards

first_imgOne would’ve thought that Neymar could even make it to the top 10 in the awards circuit this year, but he didn’t even make that cut.As we saw Luka Modric pick up his The Best and World XI awards this Monday, we also realized that Neymar wasn’t even in the conversation this year and Kylian Mbappé completely replaced him in every aspect. The Brazilian forward had the most forgettable year of his career, even if he won trophies for PSG last season, playing in Ligue 1 proves that he becomes irrelevant if he doesn’t do anything important for his national team or he doesn’t get far in the Champions League with the French club. Mbappé on the other hand, was the best young player in the last World Cup and won the trophy with France. For many experts even, Kylian Mbappé was the best player of the competition and he might get a last-minute upset in the Ballon d’Or which will happen on December the 3rd. But Neymar’s situation is truly alarming, as he wasn’t even mentioned in the top 10 of either The Best or the UEFA Players of the Year awards from last season and he was completely forgotten from the media apart from the already familiar trolling and memes that are constantly done against him. Sad to say but, Neymar is slowly becoming what he dreaded the most: he is turning into the new version of Robinho.Because sadly for Neymar, only winning one Champions League and reaching Pele’s all-time top scoring record won’t be enough to consider him one of the greats. Unfortunately for him, the PSG star was born in the age of football titans when Messi and Ronaldo dominated the sport and now he may even get eclipsed by fellow teammate Kylian Mbappé who also seems like he is going to be an incredible talent. As far as his country is concerned, there are many other great Brazilians who are considered better than he is and he barely reaches the all-time top 10 list of the best footballers born in Brazil. For Neymar’s career, the only thing that counts is to win more than one Ballon d’Or and he was supposed to at least have a couple by the time he was 26 or 27. This 2018 was planned as his year because of how well the Brazilian National Team played during the Conmebol World Cup Qualifiers, but it all ended in a complete disaster for him. Somewhere along the way, a bad decision os what took him to where he is today, as a completely irrelevant player who needs to get back on his feet and has the biggest challenge of his career ahead of him.Happiness 😆 pic.twitter.com/D2xDaxJsU5— Neymar Jr (@neymarjr) September 24, 2018PSG, Neymar, Ligue 1PSG ultras sent a warning letter to Neymar Manuel R. Medina – September 14, 2019 Brazilian superstar Neymar might play today his first game of the season for Paris Saint-Germain and the team’s ultras have warned him.Rough start at PSG on his second season. After the nasty injury he suffered during his first season for Paris Saint-Germain and the World Cup fiasco, Neymar came back to the French club with high hopes for a new competition and things haven’t gone his way so far. Kylian Mbappé is taking all the spotlight from him and this has translated into this year’s awards circuit, PSG failed to get that start they were hoping for in the Champions League after that painful loss against Liverpool and most of the backlash fell on Neymar. Making a decision of leaving Barcelona for a record €222 million is one of the hardest challenges any player can have. Being labeled as the most expensive player is a burden that only Cristiano Ronaldo has managed to endure, neither Neymar nor Paul Pogba have been able to get through it, even Coutinho and Dembele have struggled to live up to the hype created around their price tag. We know it’s still soon to tell if Neymar will succeed at the French club or not, but his 2018 has been truly ghastly so far and we bet the player can’t wait for the year to be over in order to start fresh during 2019. You bet that he won’t even get mentioned in the Ballon d’Or conversation, he simply didn’t do enough to deserve a spot there either.Essa época eu sonhava muito alto, mas não sabia que poderia alcançar muito mais do que imaginava. Obrigado Deus por me fazer amar tanto o futebol 🙏🏽❤️⚽️ “meu nome é favela…” 🎶 pic.twitter.com/06t5wnmvTc— Neymar Jr (@neymarjr) September 22, 2018What do you think about Neymar’s 2018 so far?
